Jonathan D. Stravitz, Esq.
Jon specializes in the commencement and facilitation of investment and corporate transactions. His professionalism combined with his corporate and legal knowledge make him indispensable to his select clientele.
His reputation for placing his clients first ensures the repeat engagement of his services. Jon’s primary focus is the relationship and the ability to satisfy the client’s needs. Several of his long-term clients who benefit from his professionalism and long-term commitment are: Mount Sinai, Northwell, IBM, Graybar Electric Company, Inc., Kelly Services, Goodman Manufacturing, Principal Financial Group, Wackenhut and EchoStar Communications Corporation and Dish Network Service, LLC. Working with these organizations and numerous investors has enhanced his local knowledge as it relates to site selection, logistics, finance and market trends. This expertise compliments his ability to represent his client’s best interests.
Jon received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the State University of New York at Albany and a Juris Doctorate (JD) from Quinnipiac College School of Law in Hamden, Connecticut. He’s a member of the New Jersey and Massachusetts Bars and recently joined The Society of Industrial & Office Realtors (SIOR) and immediately became an officer of the New York City/Downstate New York chapter. He’s currently a licensed Broker in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut & Pennsylvania.
John B. Aires, MSRE
John’s ability to comprehend and analyze the financial considerations of a transaction has aided him in successfully representing both landlords and tenants with cost saving measures in the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets. Listening to the client and directing his focus on understanding their needs, allows John to provide the client with information and advice that enables the client to make a well thought out and educated decision about how to accomplish their real estate objectives.
John received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Finance from the University of Colorado with a minor in Economics. He also has a Master of Science in Real Estate (MSRE) from New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.
Gabriel Silverstein, SIOR
Gabriel's specialty expertise includes build-to-suit financial structuring and complex financial structuring of debt and equity as well as leases.
Gabriel is based in Austin, TX and has completed real estate transactions in 45 US states and 17 foreign countries. Gabriel has nearly $7 billion in real estate financing, sales, leasing and portfolio experience. Recent transactions include such diverse projects as build-to-suit financing/funding, multi-tenant office acquisition financing, sale of a multi-tenant shopping center, land loan development workout and restructuring, and a retail property portfolio sale/leaseback.
Starting in 2004 Gabriel founded and became the President of Angelic Real Estate, which in late 2016 became SVN|Angelic. Prior to SVN|Angelic, Gabriel was a Senior Vice President at Equis Corporation, an asset manager and financial analyst at LaSalle Partners (now Jones Lang LaSalle), was on an overseas trading desk at Morgan Stanley, and ran a construction supply company in Moscow, Russia named Star Progress.
Gabriel received his BBA in Finance and Business Economics from the University of Notre Dame, with a second major in Computer Applications. He is past President of the New York City/Downstate New York chapter of SIOR and is on the Board of Directors of SIOR Global.
Justin B. Roberts, MBA
Justin brings a wealth of knowledge from all aspects of the real estate market including multifamily, hotel, commercial, and development. He obtained this knowledge working at prestigious firms in acquisitions, asset management, leasing and development. Justin’s experience culminates in providing services to his clients that’s unmatched, which SVN|BIOC and its clients have found invaluable.
His work ethic has led to organizations desiring his services, from such past employers’ as Paradigm Capital Group (Acquisition, Bridge & Construction Loan Underwriter), Swig Equities (Institutional Office Asset Mgmt and Leasing), GFI Capital Resources Group (Multifamily and Hotel acquisitions/asset mgmt.) and most recently, Roberts Equities (Retail, Medical Office, Multifamily) to SVN|BIOC.
With nearly $500MM in closed residential/multifamily and commercial transactions, and was previously responsible for lease administration of a 2 million sq.ft. portfolio of retail and office properties; Justin is continually growing within all aspects of the industry. His Clients request his involvement in their deals regarding tenant and landlord leasing, modeling new acquisitions, site selection, and portfolio management. They have come to rely on Justin, not as a broker, but as a trusted colleague.
Justin attained an MBA in Real Estate & Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He graduated Cum Laude from PACE University receiving a BBA from the Lubin School of Business. He’s currently licensed in New York.
